Existing Database Migration

Websmiths, LLC knows that many paintball fields have been tracking customer behavior for years using custom built databases and other programs. We also realize that giving up access to that data would be highly detrimental to your business. However, finding the time to convert this existing data into a new format can be nearly impossible. Does this mean that Advanced Paintball Field Manager isn't right for your business? We don't think so.

If your customer data is in Microsoft Access, SQL Server, MySQL, or another database format, Websmiths, LLC may be able to convert it to the Advanced Paintball Field Manager database format for you!

Our migration process includes validation of all your existing data to ensure only unique, properly formatted data is transferred. Additionally, if any records contain data which does not meet the proper validation requirements, many of those objects (such as phone numbers) can be properly formatted during the migration process, greatly reducing the number of lost records.

Here's a list of features included with the migration service:

Pricing for applicable database migration is based on an initial evaluation and setup fee of $50.00**, plus migration costs starting at a rate of $1.75 per 100 records successfully converted (calculated by lot). This means that you will only pay for records that can be successfully validated and transferred, and not for duplicates or otherwise invalid entries.

Custom Report Files

Websmiths, LLC can produce custom data reports for Advanced Paintball Field Manager based on your specific design criteria. Rates for a BASIC custom report is $100.00 per unique page, which includes access to 2 data tables and up to three search criteria. This format covers the majority of report design needs within APFM, but more complex report designs can also be accomodated.

* Not all invalid data can be converted. Records with missing data from key categories may be excluded unless a default entry is designated by the customer. Otherwise, records with missing data will be excluded from migration.

** $50.00 setup and evaluation fee is required to determine if the source database can be converted, and is therefore non-refundable.
